2 strips of 300mm x 25mm protective tape.

This polyurethane protective tape is made from a very high performance elastomer that is resistant to erosion, abrasion, punctures, minor impact damage and tears. Its formula is also UV resistant.

This specific model of polyurethane protective tape is used on certified helicopter blades. Although it is applied to the blade, this protective tape does not impact aerodynamic performance (at least this is not measurable).

It is adhesive on one side, very easy to apply and change. It is transparent, it can be painted or applied on painted surfaces.

Very effective to protect from water or sand, to be used in paramotors.

  • Thickness: 0.36 mm
  • Width: 25 mm
  • Length of each ribbon = 300 mm (30 cm)

Easy to install: thoroughly clean the blade, peel the film from the tape, place the tape on the leading edge of the blade and stick it.

To remove the leading edge protective tape: gently heat it with a hair dryer (not a heat gun which would be too hot). As soon as the tape becomes a little soft, you can remove it by pulling it out, possibly by gently scraping it off with a wooden spatula. Remove the glue by gently dabbing the glue with acetone (do not dip the blade in acetone). Finally, clean the blade well to remove acetone residues.
